Creekside Acres is a diverse family farm specializing in grass-fed lamb and pastured, free-ranging poultry/eggs located 30 minutes east of Charlotte in New Salem, North Carolina. We strongly believe in traditional, sustainable and environmentally friendly farming methods and employ these practices to raise our animals in a healthy environment where they are allowed to mature naturally. We utilize pasture rotation, controlled grazing and natural fertilizer. No pesticides, herbicides or chemical fertilizers are ever used on our pastures, and our animals are completely free of hormones, steroids and antibiotics.
We are not certified organic, but our practices of growing healthy food actually go beyond organic standards in the areas of our commitment to enriching the soil, maximizing the taste and safety of the food we produce and providing a high quality of life for our animals. God designed nature to nurture life so effectively, and we are dedicated to working within the parameters of that perfectly balanced design.
Our personal journey into healthy food choices began in 2003 when we removed all items from our pantry that contained white flour, hydrogenated oils, white sugar, and MSG. We began choosing organic and locally grown options as well as grinding grain for breadmaking and started to raise chickens in our backyard for fresh eggs. We, like so many Americans, had gotten used to “grocery store food,” and we quickly realized that we had forgotten what good food REALLY tasted like. From then on, we knew we could only be satisfied with consuming food that was grown and raised the way our Creator intended.
After purchasing our farm in 2005, we welcomed Jersey cows and Nigerian Dwarf goats into our family so that we could have our own raw dairy products. Our next step was the addition of Dorper sheep and free-range chickens to fill our pastures.
Our family places great value in being able to produce food of value, and it is our joy to be able to share the fruit of our endeavors with others who have chosen a similar path.

Please place your order for our farm-fresh products at least 1-2 days in advance (and earlier if possible). This allows us to allocate our daily supplies to meet the needs of all of our customers more effectively.
Our farm store is open for pickup of PRE-ORDERED products Sunday through Friday between the hours of 10-10:30 AM and 4-4:30 PM. If you are unable to come during these times, please contact us to arrange a specific appointment time. Because we are a working farm, we are not able to receive drop-in visitors and respectfully request your punctuality and adherence to our hours of operation.
